Got It: Payless Shoes

When most people think of Payless Shoes they think of cheap quality, which I have to say is true for 90% of the shoes. But, every now and then I spot a shoe that is a good quality and has to be at a good price, I'll choose it over a name brand.

For example, I've been dying for these Nine West Vela's in Natural Reptile. And even though they're on sale from $89 to $49, it's still more than I would pay for a shoe that I can only use when the weather is warm.

And then I come across the zoe&zac Poplar Hurache Sandal @ Payless on sale for $29 and I'm in love.
(zoe&zac is a 'stylish and eco-friendly' brand.)

Not the same color by any means, but similar nonetheless in style.

Chunky heel & platform - check
Strappy sandal - check
Cute buckle - check!

I'm usually an 8.5 but I actually went with a size 9 since they run a little small.

Another shoe I picked up was the Montego Bay Mitch Patent Cork Wedge in Payless.

On the website, it's listed as $24 but in store they were on sale for $16! Can't beat that! I'm not a big fan of patent, mostly because when it's a cheap shoe it makes it look just that...cheap. But these were surprisingly comfy and flattering. A cute wedge you could just throw on with some shorts and still look casual. Or can help add a finishing touch to a summer dress.
