OOTD: Ruffles

Anything I want to feel pretty I realized I usually reach for something ruffly, pink or beige. I've done an OOTD post with this shirt before, I can't get enough of it.

And to add just the right touch, I added my Aldo rose earrings.

Top: see previous post
Black sweater wrap: INC at MACYs, had it since forever
Jeans: MACYs, had for a long time as well
Beige pumps: Payless Shoes $20 on sale
White rose earrings: Aldo, $12

OOTD: Inspiration, Khloe Kardashian

I saw this image on Kardashian stylist Monica Rose's blog of Khloe in the airport.

The colors are gorgeous and compliment her.

So0o as much as I wish I could afford her $400 Navajo sweater throw, I decided to use something I've had laying around since the summer time to give a small touch to my outfit. Can you tell what it was? Yes, that cute little scarf. I bought it for $3 at a local summer outdoor fair. I love how it mixes brown and black with some beige and white thrown in.
Sweater dress: GAP $30, on sale at a GAP outlet

Project 10 Pan: Round 2 - COMPLETED!

Another Project 10 Pan completed. See my 1st post on P10P: Round 2 here.

It's been on going for awhile now, so the items from the 1st post have already been thrown out. The picture below shows most of the remaining items. Also note, I had 4 mini items so instead of these making up my final 4 items, I only counted them as 2 items.

(First 1/2 of items from Round 2)

(Not pictured: CG lash blast, OPI Bubble bath, BE primer, MUFE primer, MK satin lip balm)
Continued from my 1st Round 2 post:

8) Mary Kay Satin Lip Balm
Really nice texture, super smooth. It's a clear lip balm & there's no scent to it which kinda weirded me out since pretty much all lip balms today have some sort of scent. I've had it forever and had received as a gift. Mary Kay probably doesn't sell this item anymore.

8 1/2) Mary Kay Satin Hands Lotion
Also received this as a gift with my Mary Kay Satin Lips balm. Very sheer and thin texture, isn't that moisturizing. Not fond of the smell. They probably do not still sell this item either.

9) Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer
LOVE IT. BEST facial lotion I have EVER USED! Have already repurchased. See my Product Rave post here.

10) MAC makeup remover wipes (100 pack)
Another pack bites the dust. I like the smell to these, but I don't notice a big difference between these wipes and the Neutrogena makeup removing wipes which are $8. I keep going back and forth.

When Round 3 starts these items are the next to go:

-Soap & Glory Righteous Butter Body Cream
AMAZING clean and fresh smell. Have never smelled anything like it. I use on my skin before bed and in the morning you can still feel how moisturized my skin is, as well as that amazinggg smell!

-Amazing Cosmetics Concealer
Too bad at all. Very nice coverage with 2 layers and nice sheen to it. Will prob repurchase in the future.

Snowed In

The snow has been coming down since late Tuesday night and isn't stopping until Thursday morning. Right now it's 7:30pm on Wednesday night and not only is it still coming down, but we've had at least 10 inches of snow.

aahhhhhh

So being snowed in is not one of my strong points. Here's some sappy BUT CUTE pics of the pup via being stuck inside.

OOTD: Feelin Blue

Actually...it was the complete opposite. This OOTD was from FRIDAY! I should've been rocking some black and gold. I was looking forward to a fun, Superbowl-filled weekend. Go SAINTS!

Grey crew neck tee: $4
Dark wash skinny jean: Zara $40

OOTD: Anddd more snow

Once again, I had to deal with a few inches of no good rotten snow...I probably sound like a huge Grinch but now that I'm working in the 'real word,' snow during the week is nothing more than a huge pain in the butt inconvenience.

Didn't have much motivation in this outfit besides to stay warm and feel comfortable. Oh yea..AND to wear my new Forever21 fashion ring. Super sparkly!!

Beige and creme striped v-neck sweater: GAP $35
Cream scarf: Macys $36
Black leggings: Zara $30
Brown boots: Walmart
Fashion diamond ring: Forever21 $5

Clever lil quotes

I read this quote on Amber's Notebook and it put a quick smile on my face...enjoyyyy!

Don't knock the weather; nine-tenths of people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while.

Product I LOVE: Sephora brand Top Coat

(the top coat is on the end to the right)

Most of the time, I am one of those ppl who believe brand name is best. I totally eat my words on this one when it comes to stumbling across the Sephora brand Top Coat polish.

I was at Sephora to take a look at the OPI nail polishes, when I realized, oh crap I need to buy another top coat polish!.

I had HAD it with a Sally Hansen top coat polish...it SUCKED big time. No matter what polish I used whether it was a high end, low end, a light color, a dark color, a sheer or opaque color, this top coat would seem to chip my nail color LITERALLY within a day or two!

I was going to buy the OPI top coat, but didn't feel like spending $9 just for a clear top coat. So I went over to the Sephora brand section and grabbed myself one of their top coats for $6. ITS AMAZINGGG! No joke, once you use this top coat, your polish WILL NOT chip for almost 2 WEEKS! I've used it with light color polishes and dark polishes.

I will repurchase this over and over!
