Another fabulous watch dupe thanks to Target!
Slight difference in gold tone but BIG difference in price. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on this watch. Everytime someone notices it they assume it's the Michael Kors watch, but then I let them know it's actually from Target! LOVE IT!

If you like this dupe post, check out a similar post for a Target watch that's a dupe for the Chanel white watch here.

However, the Target Boyfriend watches are not online, in stores only.

GOT IT: Guerlain Terracotta Skin Healthy Glow Foundation & Tarte EmphasEYES Aqua-Gel Eyeliner

Can you tell I took advance of the Sephora 15% coupon haha? Since you were able to re-use the coupon up until 4/21, I dropped by Sephora for the 2nd time that week in search of a summer foundation/tinted moisturizer since my Chanel Vitalumiere foundation was reaching it's final days.

Now. Here's my problem. I have oily skin. Once springtime hits WATCH OUT..I'll have the shiniest chin you've ever seen.

Which brings me to my dilemma. When it comes to days that I need to run some quick errands or on a hot day when foundation is just  too heavy, I reach for my Laura Mercier (the oil-free one might I add) tinted moisturizer which is definitely the best tinted moisturizer out there right next to Stila.
$42

Even though it's a great tinted moisturizer, it wasn't helping my shine problem. Since it's so moisturizing, it was making it worse.

So what's a girl to do?

I decided I would try to find a super light weight/sheer foundation for the hot upcoming summer months which also helped control my 'shininess.' Which brought me to Guerlain. I've heard great things about their Terracotta Skin Healthy Glow Foundation through one of my fav bloggers The Chloe Conspiracy. She's mentioned that it provides good coverage while looking like it's your '2nd skin' plus adding a healthy glow...I was SOLD.

I checked it out in Sephora and to my surprise there were only TWO shades...yes TWO. 01 for Blondes and 02 for Brunettes. I squeezed out the shade for brunettes & my initial reaction was
OH. MY. GOD. THIS IS TOO DARK (as you can see from the swatch below).

$49 came out to $41 with my coupon!

But then I noticed how velvety smooth the texture was. It looks like a mix between a cream and a liquid consistency. When you touch it, it turns into a powder held together by a light oil which helps control my oily skin. When you apply, the deep color sheers out and you end up with a light tint of bronzing color.

AHHH MAZ ING! I'll post pics soon!

My next conquest ending up being an accidental one. I was looking at the Tarte tinted moisturizers originally and came across their eye gel pencils.

I've been using a dark brown Prestige waterproof eyeliner for the past month or two, but it's way too drying. I like a smooth even application of color when it comes to my eye liners (think Stila Kajal eyeliners and MAC Smolder). I was surprised b/c I heard such great hype, but Prestige just wasn't doing it for me.

$18 came out to $15 w my coupon

I came across the Tarte EmphasEYES Waterproof Gel eyeliner in Brown and it went on sooo smooth you couldn't even feel it. I was a little wary of the waterproof aspect b/c the Prestige waterproof pencil was a you know what to wash off at night. To my surprise, it didn't budge during the day and at night wasn't a hassle to wash off. SOLD!

GOT IT: Aerosoles 'Plushing Bride'

I've had my eye on these gorgeous wedges since the summer! They were originally $80 and I was waiting for the price to go down a little. Fast forward to October, I get the Aerosoles catalog in the mail to find them down to $30! The next day I go online to order and they're SOLD OUTTTT. I freaked!

I called a local Aerosoles store and asked if they could see if any other stores still had them in stock in the tan color. Sure enough I got lucky and bought the 2nd to last pair in tan in all of NJ!

So just as I get these in the weather turns COLD! There was no way I was letting this chilly weather stop me from wearing my latest trophies. See some OOTD's below.

UPDATE 4/28/11: Since these wedges were so popular, Aerosoles came out with a new but slightly similar version of the 'Plushing Bride' wedge.

AND they're on sale right now for $50!!

GOT IT: Bumble & Bumble at Sephora!

...ON SALE!

Yes! What are you waiting for!? It ends this Thursday, 4/21 and you can use the coupon as many times as you want until then. It's rare when Sephora sends out coupons so take advantage ppl!

Here are 2 items I picked up today by Bumble & bumble...yes my Sephora has finally stepped up their game..it's about time!

 Thickening Serum
$27 $23 with my coupon

I've been seeing bloggers post like crazy about this serum.

What it is: A nightly, leave-in hair treatment for thickening and strengthening.

You can rub it through wet or dry hair BEFORE you go to bed. Over time, This serum fattens and fortifies each strand over time for thicker, stronger, and fuller hair.

I've been growing out my hair for a few years now & despite how long it has gotten I have to work with thin/fine hair. I'll test it out and let you know what I think. ;)

 Surf Spray
$23 $20 w/ coupon

This is exactly what it says it is.
I had heard a lot of buzz about this from VS models. It was also a popular item in Cali of course! :)

I'll try these babies out for a week or so and get back to you w/ reviews!

UPDATE 4/28/11: I've been trying both of these out for the past week. I think I need to give the Thickening Hair Serum more time before I can rightfully judge.

However, as for the Surf Spray, I'm LOVING it! It gives my thin, fine hair more texture and helps keep the waves in place. Big THUMBS UP! Smells great, cute packaging, it's a win win for me. Worth every penny!

For beachy waves in the past, I've tried just plain water & salt from the kitchen to the actual ocean water to the Charles Worthington Texturizing Salt Spray ($18) and no luck.

I'll post pics soon! :)

Bag Obsession: Urban Expressions

Every girl has her vice...be it makeup, SHOES, clothes, accessories and of course handbags!

Now I'm not the type of girl who's into designer bags, not b/c I don't think they're gorgeous, who doesn't <3 those Chanel, Michael Kors & Louie V bags!? Obviously the prices are outrageous, but more so b/c every month or so I get bored with my handbag.

Sure I still have some favorites that I'll pull out now and then, but for the most part I can't justify spending anything over $50 for a bag that I know in a month I'll get sick of it and be ready to replace it with the next best thing. :)

Cue in TJ Maxx! I've got to say most of my bags are found in TJ Maxx. Some have been name brand, but most aren't. Take my gorgeous bag below, I've been in love with it now for..gasp..almost 4 months! It's probably the longest handbag relationship I've had in awhile haha.

I get a lot of compliments on it and most people think I spent a fortune on it. The brand is 'Urban Expressions,' and you'll NEVER guess how much this bag really was...READY??

$20!

Who says it's all about love and not the money...<3
