GOT IT: Ella Moss & Joie via Hautelook & Adrienne Vittadini via Ideeli

Lately, Hautelook & Ideeli have been hosting sales by some of my fav brands..and since I'm one to rarely pay full-price for an item these 2 sites are some of my fav samples sites out there.

I've been a member of Hautelook for almost a year now. My only con is shipping time. The earliest I've ever received an item from Hautelook has been 3 weeks after my purchase. The longest has been a month.

I'm also a member of Ideeli, and they seem to ship fairly quickly. My most recent purchase was last week and they shipped out the item on Saturday. So I'm hoping by the end of this week I will have my order. :)

And last but not least, I'm a member of Gilt Group. Great sales by big name brands/designers, but still too pricey for my taste.

UPDATE: Ella Moss ordered on 4/26. Rec'd 5/12. Eh..too slow.

Two of my favorite brands for super soft material are Ella Moss & Joie. Even when these are on a major blowout sale at Bloomingdales, I still can't afford them. So when I saw a sale on Joie & Ella Moss on Hautelook it was like Christmas morning!

Ella Moss
Sundance Belted Tunic
originally $140
via Hautelook $70

OOTD

Leggings: Zara $40
Ring: Forever21
Wedges: Aerosoles

UPDATE: Joie ordered on 4/27. Rec'd the striped tank on 5/6. Not bad, but the Alicia tee was short ordered. :( In the process of Hautelook refunding me for item.
Joie
Alicia Tee
originally $154
via Hautelook $57

Joie
Saunders Striped Tank
originally $155
via Hautelook $63

UPDATE: Ideeli ordered 4/29. Rec'd 5/6. Much faster than Hautelook!

I love Adrienne Vittadini for the quality of their simple basic pieces. However, I've never bought items from this brand at full price because I tend to find Adrienne Vittadini among the racks at TJ Maxx here and there so  I was really excited to see Ideeli was hosting a sale as well.

 ADRIENNE VITTADINI
Perry in Black Leather
originally $89
via Ideeli $59

 ADRIENNE VITTADINI
Oversized Racer Back
originally $148
via Ideeli $19

OOTD's coming soon!
:)

GOT IT: MICHAEL by Michael Kors via Hautelook

Well..it struck again...I saw Hautelook was hosting a sale on Michael Kors and I actually thought nothing would catch my eye again. Over the last 2 or 3 months, Hautelook would host an MK sale and I would never find anything that seemed worthwhile. So going into the MK sale today, I figured would probably be another disappointment.

About $112 later boy was I wrong. There are SUCH great versatile basic pieces that you weren't allowed to exceed 6 items in your cart. I ended up going with the following 3 items, I CANNOT WAIT for them to arrive! They're perfect for work and to dress up for night. Click on the items below to direct you to them on Hautelook.

UPDATE: Ordered on 5/3, received today, 5/16. Not bad compared to past Hautelook orders. See OOTDs below.

If you are interested in the wedge tops or the cardigan, you can purchase here and here.

Outfit Inspiration: Kim K. in a Dark Chambray shirt

I've never been big on the denim jacket or chambray shirt trend, now or even back in the 90's when it was in style.

...maybe it was the ugly almost white looking washes or the thickness of the jackets or just trying to figure out the combo of denim on denim.

However, I saw this pic of Kim's outfit awhile ago & for some reason the combo of black leggings/heels & the dark wash denim shirt w the rolled up sleeves look polished in a non-90's kinda way.

Ever since then I've been on my mission to find an affordable dark chambray 'tunic-like 'shirt.

So far I've come across some options from TopShop, but they're too pricey for a trend that I'm not crazy about:

 $70

I like the tunic-y length, but I'd like a darker wash.

TopShop
Denim Military Shirt

$66

I'd like a darker wash & a more tunic-y length.

$50

This is the closest option I've found.
The wash is perfect, but it's still too pricey.

 Any suggestions?

UPDATE: Here's my OOTD Outfit Inspiration.

Chambray shirt: The GAP
With an online discount that came out to $35

UPDATE! Outfit Inspiration: Lauren Conrad in TopShop

LOVE this simple yet chic look that Lauren Conrad is known for always pulling off. She is wearing a TopShop blouse w/ a wide-flared lightwash jean & of course wedges.

Outfit Inspiration:

TopShop
Peach Grandad Collar Shirt

$75

They keep restocking, but it keeps selling out! Get it while you can.

UPDATE 5/9/11: Since the Topshop version keeps selling out, I came across an Ann Taylor tunic for $98 that is similar. See it here.

My Take on the look:

As much as I was in love with Lauren's TopShop shirt, I just couldn't justify spending $70 when I already had a similar tunic.

It's an H&M tunic that I tucked into my jeans.

And as for 'flared' jeans, this is as 'wide' as I like 'em.

Tunic: H&M $20 on sale!
Jeans: Guess Jeans via TJ Maxx $40
Wedges: Aerosoles (it's still too cold to wear sandal wedges)

UPDATE! Dupe it: White Chanel watch

I've been searching high and low for a dupe of the infamous white Chanel watch. ToyWatch, Guess and Michael Kors also make a similar version, but they are still very pricey. I've always been a watch person..for the fashion of it & b/c I'm the type of person whose always liked to have the time right there for my convenience.

The most I have ever shoveled out for a watch is about $50 for my black Guess watch from back in the day or my $80 Fossil watch, but that was a gift for my bday from my parents. There is no way I'm willing to shovel out hundreds of dollars for either of those white watches..as lovely as they really are.

So my search has been on for a decent replica...and low and behold I finally found it @ none other than Target
. It's Merona for Target and was $15. The hardest part about trying to find a dupe was replicating the watch band. Here it is:

UPDATE 5/9/11: Some updates on more white watch dupes that I've come across via Macy's.
